Study loft beds: the perfect answer to smaller rooms and dorm rooms!

The space saving design of these study loft beds are a dream come true for parents like me. With sleeping quarters on top and a computer desk and chair underneath, we were able to turn a very small room into a comfortable bedroom and hangout area for our daughter.

The study loft you're looking at on the left is called a Mimas study loft.

This is the same type of loft that we put in our daughters room. Besides being affordable, which I loved, it really looks good in her room and she absolutely loves it. She's the first one of her friends to have a loft bed, which has made her the envy of the crowd. From what I understand, one of her friends has already started to drop hints to her Mom and Dad about having her own study loft bed.

Also Perfect for Dorm Rooms

One thing that is pretty much the same in every dorm room is that there just isn't a lot of space. That's why more and more young people are taking their study loft beds with them when it's time to go away to school. A private area (as private as you can get in a dorm room) that the student can call their own, is sometimes just what is needed during those hectic college days.

Shopping for a study loft?

Graduate Series Loft Home Office

The first thing you'll notice if you are shopping for a study loft, is that they come in either a metal frame or a wooden frame. The metal frame lofts, like the one you see above, are sturdy, stylish, and affordable. The wooden frame lofts, like the one on the right, are well built, functional, beautiful pieces of furniture. You'll find a much bigger selection with the wood frames, and they tend to be priced a bit higher than the metal framed beds. Any way you look at it, all these study and dorm loft beds are just gorgeous.
